Powerful Infrastructure to Power Your Business

SecurITon's data center is a Melbourne facility situated in 525 Collins Street, The Rialto Towers Building. Our 1,000 square foot facilities include top notch security as well as redundancy in all critical systems. Our on-site Network Operations Center (NOC) is staffed with experts, allowing us to monitor the network for performance issues and proactively troubleshoot any potential issues.

Secured Facility

Our state-of-the-art data center is housed in a secure facility tracked with closed circuit digital cameras, biometric finger scans, keycards, coded badges, controlled access after hours, security system monitoring, restricted access beyond the lobby, and security guards 24x7.

Network Connectivity

Our network is designed for maximum uptime and we partner with the best in the business for consistent, stable and fast connectivity. We use industry-standard BGPv4 to peer with multiple Tier 1+2 networks. This provides reliability through automatic failover and maintains connectivity even when one of our peers has internal problem with their routes. We exclusively use Cisco, the industry standard for our dependable high performance network

Multiple Redundant Power Supply

Uninterpretable Power Supplies (UPS's), 2 x 120 kVA, back up all critical systems. These units provide a critical power bridge between the time that a loss of power from electrical grid is detected to the time that the back-up generator takes over and provides power to the facility, ensuring that there is no power loss to the critical systems and customers. Our UPS.s run a monthly self battery test and are serviced on a semi- annual basis for preventative maintenance. In event of a failure we fallback to one of 2 generators situated in the building, which are setup for as in an "On Demand" configuration.

Environmental Control

Redundant Liebert HVAC units keep the temperature and humidity within the DC at optimum levels. These down flow air units also have changeable filters that control the air quality within the DC. The down flow configuration pressurizes the raised floor cavity allowing out technicians to target cooling within the DC as needed. Each HVAC unit is visually inspected at the beginning of every shift by our tech staff.

Locking Cabinets

Our main raised floor data center area contains multiple rows of co-location cabinets for everything from shared hosting to dedicated servers to single U co-location to a full private co-location cabinet. Rows are set up in a Hot Aisle - Cold Aisle configuration. Each cold aisle is fed from the HVACs by cold air from under the pressurized floor via strategically placed perforated floor tiles. This configuration maximizes the environmental efficiency of our HVAC units.

Fire Suppression (FM200) + Detection (VESDA)

The entire 450m2 of raised floor data center is covered by a pre-action dry-pipe fire suppression system. The system is broken into zones allowing us to accurately and efficiently address an alarm, should one occur. The system contains ceiling mounted and below floor smoke detectors. For every smoke detector that is visible on the ceiling, there is a matching one below the raised floor. Our fire suppression system also has below and above ceiling sprinkler heads.

Raised and Anti-Static Floors

Servers can be housed both on raised and anti-static floors. Raised floors improve access through data cabling, but static floors provide the benefit of automatic and safe discharge when you pull off a server.
