Security is at the forefront of everything SecurITon does. To start with, our systems are audited every three months as part of our ISO 27001 Information Security Management Systems accreditation.
We are currently undergoing accreditation for the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) which will make us one of only a handful of facilities in Australia meeting this standard.
IRAP accreditation means we take security seriously
IRAP assessments have been completed for Securiton's in-scope services up to and including the PROTECTED level. These assessments have occurred every two years since September 2020. These assessments are performed to ensure Securiton can host Government data to highly secure levels. Securiton nand it's staff strictly adhere to IRAP security control guidelines when delivering services.
Understanding your security needs
When we begin working with a new client, one of our first actions is to conduct a data risk assessment. This helps us understand your data: what’s critical and what’s not, and to assess your data integrity. From there we agree on a data security strategy with you. For example, we recommend keeping critical data on the SAN for 90 days as per IRAP standards.
