The IRAP is an Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) initiative to provide high-quality information and communicaton technology (ICT) security assessment services to government. IRAP Security Assessments are based on the Australian Governement Information Security Manual. IRAP complience has a strong focus on Information Security and creates an organisations risk profile then the strategies required to mitigate risks. It takes in the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) Essential Eight baseline amongst it’s many mitigation strategies. It includes all aspects of business. It ensures very high levels of care is taken in the processing, managing and storing of clients information. It’s gives a level a reassurence that a clients information has the same security surrounding it as Federal Government.
